Sponsorship Opportunities

Different types of sponsorships exist to meet the needs of our residents and desires of those in our community to help the Home in our mission of serving abused & neglected children

WEEKEND CARE PACKAGE                   A weekend snack-pack is one of the simplest ways to
donate on occasion to the CCH community. CCH kids, like most young people, enjoy movies and other activities on the weekends. Snack packs may include items like soda, chips, cookies, fruit and/or passes for a movie, bowling, or skating.

ACTIVITY/OUTING SPONSOR                  CCH residents love to go off campus and enjoy Columbia’s various cultural, sporting and entertainment events such as the ballet, basketball games, plays and concerts. Sponsors will provide tickets for one cottage, one age group or the entire campus of children (depending upon resources and the nature of the event).

HOLIDAY SPONSOR                               These Sponsors provide cards and/or goodie bags for all of the children in one cottage during special holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas.

BIRTHDAY SPONSOR                             Birthday sponsors are very important at CCH. Sponsorship involves committing to every child in one cottage for a minimum of one year. Each cottage has an average of 12-16 residents. One gift and a cake are suggested for each birthday. Gift certificates from a child’s favorite store always make excellent gifts. We ask that our birthday sponsors spend approximately the same amount on each child.

FINANCIAL SPONSORS                          CCH’s Shining Star Society makes giving straight financial donations easy.  Anyone, including an organization or corporation, can pledge $10, $25, $50, $100, $250 or $500 a month to become a Shining Star member. Such generous contributions help pay for a child’s clothing, medical care, food, utilities and/or educational needs. Your gift makes an enormous difference in the life of a child.

COTTAGE SPONSOR                              Requiring a generous commitment of $1,000 annually, such monies are directed to a restricted cottage fund to be spent on those children for clothing, special outings, school supplies, and programs.

SPECIAL EVENTS SPONSOR                 CCH hosts one major fundraising event each May - the Annual Bar-B-Que Cook-off Festival. Commercial sponsorship provides an outstanding public relations opportunity for any business or organization. Depending upon the level of contribution, sponsors may receive public recognition on event brochures, Tshirts and more!  Both individual and commercial sponsors make donations in the form of time (volunteering) and/or money.  This event makes a great difference in raising awareness of the Home’s mission and in providing annual operating support that’s needed to serve the hundreds of children CCH helps each year.  Please refer to the Activities and Events page for more info. on current events!!

CCH also hosts a Homecoming/Anniversary celebration every five years on the fifth year of the date of its anniversary – its purpose is to reunite our former residents and raise awareness of the Home’s mission. Corporate or individual sponsors are needed to help underwrite the costs of this event as well.
